Bernice Lowe graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture (UTS) and in 2002 completed a post graduate certificate in Manaka Japanese acupuncture protocols. Bernice is passionate about continual professional education and periodically travels overseas to study with a Master in Japanese Acupuncture, Sensei Kiiko Matsumoto.
Bernice’s career in oriental therapies began in 1991 as a Shiatsu therapist. She has a varied and extensive interest in working with the body and has also worked as a whole-foods cook, taught Traditional Chinese Medicine remedial massage at UTS, and studied Tai Chi, dance, bodywork, Iyengar Yoga and Bowen therapy. She draws upon an in-depth and holistic approach to her Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture practice.
Bernice has been established in Sydney’s inner west for over 14 years. In 2000 she first joined the team of ‘Fertility Health’, then in 2004, relocated to gain experience in a practice that focused mainly on obstetrics. In 2008 she re-joined the team at Fertility Health with a particular interest in reproductive health.
In 2008, Bernice established an acupuncture clinic within the Endo-Gynaecology Department at The Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick.
