Sumin Ko is a qualified acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner, and has been practicing traditional Chinese Medicine for a number of years.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Health science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She is a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is also a member of Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
Sumin has a lifelong interest in helping people achieve and maintain optimal health and quality of life. Sumin is interested in how imbalance of body’s qi, blood, yin and yang may affect health. She is interested in the effects of acupuncture and herbal medicine, along with dietary and lifestyle changes. She takes in account that every individual is unique and adjusts her approach based on their needs and body types.
Currently, Sumin is also studying a Masters in Nursing at the University of Sydney. Throughout the journey, she has developed deeper understanding in patient care and management.
She values the art of listening and learning new skills as she develops her career as a healthcare professional.
