My Journey

Maria's fascination with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) started over 15 years ago as a patient at the Rozelle Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Centre (RACM). After enduring a challenging period of unexplained infertility, despite numerous medical consultations and IVF attempts, Maria embarked on a deeply personal quest for alternative solutions.

This quest led her to explore holistic well-being approaches, including lifestyle modifications and Traditional Chinese Medicine. These changes were pivotal, culminating in the birth of her son and sparking a profound career shift. Inspired by her personal experiences, Maria pursued a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Under the mentorship of RACM's founder Jann Mehmet, she honed her skills and deepened her understanding of TCM.

Maria is currently enrolled with the Australian Doula college and is completing her Doula Training which will further enhance the support and guidance that she provides to her fertility patients, pregnancy and post-partum care.

Areas of Interest

Maria's areas of clinical focus include Women's Health and Fertility (Male and Female), IVF support, PCOS, endometriosis, recurrent miscarriage, menstrual disorders, menopause, and pregnancy support. She also provides evidence-based care for musculoskeletal conditions, digestive problems, chronic pain management, sleep disorders, stress/emotional concerns, and cosmetic facial rejuvenation.

She is committed to supporting her clients' general health and well-being. She eagerly anticipates the opportunity to support and guide new clients on their health and wellness journeys and looks forward to meeting you.
