Care Through A Demanding Process

You are more than a protocol.

Your appointments begin with what you are experiencing now, what your medical team is doing, and what would make this stage feel more manageable.

What we focus on

The concerns you bring into the room: cycle symptoms, headaches, bloating, fatigue, muscular tension, stress and the practical strain of treatment. We will also recognise when a concern belongs back with your fertility clinic.

Continuity and understanding

Fertility treatment can feel like a sequence of numbers and appointments. Here, you have time to talk through how you are coping and receive care from a practitioner who understands IVF personally as well as professionally.

Clear, respectful boundaries

Research has not established that acupuncture increases IVF pregnancy or live birth rates, so we do not promise an outcome. We agree on what you want support with, work alongside your specialist and review whether care is providing value.

Begin wherever you are: before a cycle, during stimulation, around transfer, through the two-week wait or between cycles. Your plan can be a small number of appointments or regular care, with no need to commit to a fixed package.

The Process

Phase 01

Initial Consultation

A ~90-minute deep dive into your health history, fertility timeline, and goals. Bring any blood work, scans, or specialist letters, plus cycle or BBT tracking data if you have it. Includes your first treatment.

Phase 02

Shared Priorities

We agree on the symptoms, concerns and day-to-day challenges that are appropriate to address, and identify anything that needs to return to your medical team.

Phase 03

Individualised Care

Your acupuncture treatment and any Chinese medicine recommendations are adapted to your presentation, medications and stage of treatment.

Phase 04

Review Together

Some people choose only a few appointments; others prefer regular care. We review whether it is useful and adjust or stop rather than assuming an open-ended program.

Sunday appointments available for IVF transfer timing

Initial consultation $170 (~90 mins) · follow-ups $100 · health fund rebates claimable on-site via HICAPS. See appointments & fees.

Common Questions

Honest answers to the questions we hear most from fertility patients.

Research has not established that acupuncture increases IVF pregnancy or live birth rates, so we do not promise a fertility outcome. We offer it as complementary, individualised care for people moving through fertility treatment: a place to address suitable symptoms and the physical and emotional load of the process while your specialist leads your medical care.
Yes. Your fertility specialist leads the medical protocol and we work within it. We can time appointments around stimulation, egg collection and transfer, and welcome any blood work, scans or specialist letters you would like to bring. We will never ask you to delay or alter your IVF treatment.
You can begin wherever you are. Some people come before treatment starts, others during stimulation or around transfer, and some want support between cycles. There is no evidence-based number of appointments that everyone needs. At your first consultation we discuss your concerns, schedule and budget, then agree on a plan with clear review points.
Allow around 90 minutes. We take a detailed history covering your health background, fertility timeline, and cycle patterns, and review any test results or tracking data you bring. You'll receive your first treatment in the same session. The initial consultation is $170, with follow-ups at $100.
Yes, if your extras cover includes acupuncture. We have HICAPS on-site, so rebates are claimed on the spot and you only pay the gap. Check your level of cover with your fund before your first visit.
