You've come to the right place.Fertility.

Eastern and Western medicine working together, supporting IVF cycles, natural conception, and reproductive health.

Whether you are preparing for IVF, navigating unexplained infertility, or working to regulate your cycle naturally, our approach addresses the whole picture: hormonal patterns, uterine blood flow, stress and sleep, and the emotional weight of the process. If you are working with an IVF clinic, we treat it as a joint effort: your specialist leads the Western medicine, we bring the Eastern medicine, and everyone works toward the same outcome.

About Your Practitioner

Maria Cappello came to Chinese medicine through her own journey with unexplained infertility and IVF. She understands this process from the inside: the uncertainty, the monitoring appointments, the two-week waits. Her clinical focus is fertility, IVF support, PCOS, and endometriosis.

An Honest, Evidence-Informed Approach

No overclaiming. No pressure.

You've probably read the research yourself. So have we. Here is honestly where acupuncture fits into a fertility journey.

What we focus on

Circulation and blood flow to the uterus and ovaries, cycle regulation, and the hormonal patterns behind conditions like PCOS and endometriosis, assessed through your history, cycle data, and any test results you bring.

The whole-body picture

Stress, sleep, and the emotional load of trying to conceive are part of the clinical picture, not an afterthought. Many patients tell us treatment is the one hour in their cycle where they feel looked after rather than measured.

What we don't do

We don't promise pregnancy outcomes, because no honest practitioner can. We don't ask you to step away from IVF or your specialist, and we won't pressure you into open-ended treatment packages at your first visit.

Part of your IVF team: treatment is timed to where you are: baseline and stimulation, before and after embryo transfer (including Sunday transfer-day appointments), and support through the two-week wait. Conceiving naturally instead? The same care maps to your cycle.

"I came in with PCOS and a lot of anxiety about my fertility. Maria was calm, thorough, and never made me feel rushed. After three months of treatment my cycles regulated for the first time in years. Wish I'd found her sooner."

Common Questions

Honest answers to the questions we hear most from fertility patients.

We won't overclaim here: the research on acupuncture and fertility outcomes is ongoing and mixed, and no practitioner can honestly promise a result. What we can offer is evidence-informed support. Many patients use acupuncture to help manage the stress of trying to conceive, and we work carefully alongside your specialist's plan rather than around it.
Yes, and it is how we prefer to work. We see the best results when your IVF clinic and our clinic operate as one team: they lead the medical protocol, we support your body around it. If you're going through IVF, we time sessions around your protocol stages and welcome any blood work, scans, or specialist letters you'd like to bring.
There's no wrong time to start. Some patients begin a few months before actively trying or before an IVF cycle so we have time to work with their cycle; others come in mid-treatment. At your initial consultation we'll map out timing that fits where you are.
Allow around 90 minutes. We take a detailed history covering your health background, fertility timeline, and cycle patterns, and review any test results or tracking data you bring. You'll receive your first treatment in the same session. The initial consultation is $170, with follow-ups at $100.
Yes, if your extras cover includes acupuncture. We have HICAPS on-site, so rebates are claimed on the spot and you only pay the gap. Check your level of cover with your fund before your first visit.
