At Rozelle Acupuncture, we believe in providing gentle and effective care for children of all ages. Treating children is a specialised skill, their bodies and developing systems respond differently to treatment, and our practitioners take the time to understand each child's individual needs.
We use child-appropriate techniques including: very fine acupuncture needles (for children who are comfortable with them), gentle acupressure massage on acupuncture points, and laser acupuncture, a completely pain-free and needle-free option using low-level laser light.
Concerns families commonly bring to us include: allergies and hay fever, coughs and colds, digestive issues including constipation and reflux, eczema and other skin conditions, anxiety and emotional concerns, sleep difficulties, and support alongside medical management of asthma or ADHD.
Two things we are firm about. Asthma always needs medical management and a current action plan; we work alongside that and never in place of it. And any child who is unwell, not feeding, or not growing as expected needs to see a GP or paediatrician first.
