All herbs we dispense are approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), ensuring they meet Australian safety and quality standards.
Chinese herbal medicine has a continuous recorded history spanning over 2,000 years. The system uses hundreds of individual herbs combined into thousands of time-tested formulas, each carefully chosen and modified to match the patient's specific Chinese Medicine pattern.
Our practitioners receive extensive training in the pharmacology, toxicology, uses, and contraindications of each herb and formula. We use granulated herbs that dissolve in hot water, which are convenient to prepare and have consistent, verified potency.
We do not dispense raw herbs that require boiling, this decision reflects our commitment to safety, particularly regarding monitoring of pesticides and heavy metals. Our herbal dispensary is managed with the same rigour and care as our clinical practice.
