Elleni strives to grow on a personal and professional level through attending Traditional Chinese and Japanese Medicine conferences to learn from influential master practitioners, and in 2018 Elleni completed a postgraduate program in the Labour and Delivery Unit at NYU Langone Health Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where she attended vaginal births and provided acupressure and tui-na to patients as part of an Acupuncture team which collaborated with nursing and medical staff to investigate the potential for symptom relief throughout labour, delivery and postpartum. She also had the opportunity to observe caesarean sections, administration of epidurals and induction of labour.
Earlier in 2018, Elleni attended San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas, Mexico, where she trained modern and Mayan traditional midwives in Acupuncture. This experience has enhanced her skills and fueled her interest in traditional medicines and cultures from around the world.
